Cempaka School was founded in 1983. It has since expanded to
form the Cempaka Group of Schools, comprising three school
and an A-Levels College, Spread over two campuses – one in
Damansara Heighs and the other in Cheras.
Cempaka Schools’ education philosophy flows from the belief
that the child’s development is nurtured through the mind,
body and soul. Through rigorous mental stimulation, physical
challenges and appreciation of the arts, a child can blossom
into a scholar, sportsman and gentleman.
Entry into Cempaka International School is through
competitive entrance examinations. From the moment a
Cempakan is accepted into the School, he/ she is initiated
into the culture of academic rigour and discipline.
Standards are high and competition is keen.
Cempakans’ record in National Public Examinations ever since
its inception in 1983 has been impeccable : 100% passes each
year in all examinations – the Ujian Penilaian Sekolah
rendah (UPSR) at Primary School and both the Penilaian
Menengah Rendah (PMR) and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) at
Secondary School. The School is invariably listed as one of
the top schools in these examinations each year and on
numerous occasions, Cempakans have topped both the State and
National lists and have progressed to win scholarships and
gained entry into prestigious universities.
