Nexus
World-School opens its door next September in the
administrative capital of Malaysia, Putrajaya. Owned and
operated by Garden International School, which has been
successfully operating for 50 years in greater KL, Nexus
comes with a different slant on international education.
Their emphasis is on the global aspect of education in
today's interconnected world. They do not cater to one
specific nationality as do most of the other international
schools here, but to all nationalities. Their diverse
student body will be the catalyst for the directions the
school moves in.
It is an exciting time in international education, says
David Griffiths, the newly appointed Headmaster of Nexus.
Griffiths
comes from a four year stint as Principal of Garden
International Kuantan and is a renowned educator.
With the newly built highways intersecting into Putrajaya
now, most KL area residents are just 15 minutes away from
the expansive, impressive campus. Nexus World-School is
situated in the Diplomatic enclave at Precinct 15 of
Putrajaya and will initially accommodate children from
Nursery to Year 6, eventually offering education up to Year
13. Primary children will learn through the IPC. In
Secondary Nexus will offer IGCSE and IB.
