You may be familiar with Hainanese Chicken Rice, but chicken rice in the form of rice balls is something unique, something special at Melaka (Malacca), Malaysia. Rice represents thankfulness, contemplating the hard work involved in getting that plate on our dinner table. And making rice into little rice balls has it's meaning. For Chinese, the round shape portrays completeness, giving that sense of fullness, or  abundance.

These rice balls, about the size of golf balls comes together with tender chicken meat, flavoured with sesame oil and sauce. They are best taken with the special chili sauce.
