KL Hop On-Hop Off City Tour”, the busses aimed at ‘free and easy’ tourists who prefer to explore the city at their own leisure without being tied down to rigid scheduled tours by tour agencies.

Passengers can also choose to stay on through the full circuit, as the ticket is valid within 24 hours upon purchase. The service is convenient for tourists to enjoy their city holiday with much freedom minus the hassle of taxi drivers or driving through unfamiliar roads.

The glass-topped double-decker buses sporting colourful bold and striking designs are equipped with pre-recorded commentaries in eight different languages; Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, French and Spanish.

This is to guide tourists through the major sights and attractions in more than 40 tourist destinations within the city including most major attraction sites as well as major hotels. Tourists are able to hop on or off at one of the stops to ensure their easy reach to destinations and shopping malls.

Tickets are priced at RM38 per person. However, group purchases for a group of 5 or more is at RM32 per person. Tickets are sold for RM17 for senior citizens, students and the disabled while children below five years old ride for free. Special school holiday promotion and RM19 for adult MyKad holders.

Tickets can be bought on the bus itself, through the Internet or from agents (hotels and travel agencies). Each ticket is valid for 24 hours and each purchase entitles the passenger with a service booklet with information and map of Kuala Lumpur. Operating seven days a week, the busses run a continuous circle from 8.30am to 8.30pm with approximately 30-minute intervals.
