Anticipation and interest in KLIMS 2006 will reach a feverish
pitch in a new horizon - its' home is changing playing fields
under Malaysia's commitment to the Asean Free Trade Agreement (AFTA),
where MAA had assisted the Government by providing information
to run simulations for the National Motor Policy to begin
implementation in 2005.
The preceding KLIMS in 2003 was an outstanding success, not just
in terms of the number of exhibitors and exhibits but also an
overwhelming visitor count, including delegates hailing from the
National Assembly of Vietnam. It drew a participation of 238
exhibiting companies from 21 countries and 320,000 visitors.
KLIMS was inked the largest motorshow in Malaysia in the
Malaysian Book of Records.
KLIMS 2006 will rev up the automotive scene in Malaysia and the
region. Automotive industry players, buyers, motor enthusiasts
and the media will be congregating at KLIMS 2006 for a
revelation of the automotive industry that is going to power a
new horizon.
