Malaysia National Intellectual Property Day Expo 2007

Date: 26 - 29 April 2007
Venue: Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur

In conjunction with the National Intellectual Property Day which falls on 26 April 2007, the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDN & HEP) and the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) will be organizing the 2007 National Intellectual Property Day Expo. The event will be held on 26-29 April 2007 at the Conference Hall 1,2,3, Banquet Hall and Ballroom 2, level 3, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Kuala Lumpur.

The objectives are to enable the public to understand about intellectual development and protection rights of intellectual property, encourage creative culture amongst the public and to stimulate the intellectual property sector as one of the major components in the nation’s economy.

The Intellectual Property Expo 2007 will include:

Creative Zone - exhibits the results and research institutes, local universities, companies and individuals;

Product Development Zone - exhibits various external forms or product designs/ decorations;

Marketing Zone - exhibits and market products with various trademarks

Services Zone - provides service advice regarding the registration of intellectual property;

Intellectual Property Gallery Zone - exhibits the history, development and information on intellectual property;
