Genting
International Convention Centre (GICC)
The GICC is in the cool hill resort of
Genting Highlands which also has a casino, hotels and theme parks.
The GICC has more than 9,847 sq.metres (106,000 sq feet) of
convention/ meeting space with nearly 10,000 rooms spread over five
hotels in the area. It is the biggest convention/ meetings venue in
Malaysia with an accompanying cluster of hotels nearby.
Kuala Lumpur
Convention Centre
The
Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is located in the Kuala Lumpur
City Centre, fondly known as KLCC. Designed to be a "city within a
city" this 40 hectare (100-acre) site includes the KLCC park and
PETRONAS Twin Towers to lend a prestigious address to the Kuala
Lumpur Convention Centre.
Conceptualised to host global events with international standards
including conferences, exhibitions, seminars, meetings and
entertainment. The Centre is conveniently placed alongside extensive
public transportation and hotels, making the city of Kuala Lumpur
easily accessible.

Malaysia International
Exhibition And Convention Centre (MIECC)
Located in the Mines Resort City, about 20
minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur and 35 minutes drive from the KL
International Airport (KLIA) the MIECC is a scenic location outside
the city centre. It has some 38,000 sq.metres of space with a
column-free area of 8,766 sq.metres of exhibition space.
Penang International Sports Arena (PISA)
The Penang International Sports Arena (PISA) in the
district of Bayan Baru on the island of Penang has large olympic
sized pools and is the venue for several major swimming meets and
sporting events. But, the complex has also been designed to host
conventions, exhibitions and entertainment shows.

Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC)
Located in the capital of Kuala Lumpur, the PWTC has
35,000 sq metres of exhibition space, one plenary hall,two
multipurpose halls, 17 meeting-rooms, a press conference room and
VIP suites. There are three exhibition halls, a large outdoor space
to handle tented exhibitions and a foyer area, the Legar Putra.
The PWTC is also equipped with up-to-date telecommunication and
audio-visual facilities and a fibre optic cable system, which allows
for simultaneous Internet access for up to 3,000 users.

Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC)
Located in the new Government
Administration centre in Putrajaya, PICC is the newest convention centre
in Malaysia. The largest hall is the Plenary Hall which is 4,123 square
meters and can seat 2,778 people. The Perdana Hall is 3,739 square
meters and can seat a maximum of 5,000 cocktail style and 2,060 banquet
style. The Heads of State Hall is 518 square meters and can seat 179
Congress U-Shape style. In terms of carparks there are 1,198 bays
provided.

Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre
(SPCC)
Sunway
Pyramid Convention Centre located at Sunway Pyramid shopping centre. The
center comrpises over 5,600 sq. metres of unobstructed function space.
It complements the hotel's meeting facilities by accommodating up to
3,500 convention delegates for theatre style seating. For cocktail
receptions, Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre can cater for up to 6,000
persons, which includes the foyer of the convention space. In addition
to eight meeting rooms each measuring 80 sq. metres, ideal for
registration and/or administrative offices are offered in conjunction
with large conventions. Carpark facilities for 6,000 vehicles are also
available at the convention centre.
